EyeOh is free, has no account or subscription, and is provided as a practical macOS utility. The open-source core is available under the MIT License.
Who provides EyeOh
EyeOh’s official website and signed downloads are provided by Dark Ice Interactive Pty Ltd (“Dark Ice”). “EyeOh”, its logo, and Dark Ice branding are protected names and artwork; the source-code licence does not grant permission to present another build as an official Dark Ice release.
Using the app
You may download and use EyeOh for lawful personal or business purposes. EyeOh changes macOS device preferences and asks macOS to reconnect a previously used paired Bluetooth audio device only when you choose that action. You remain responsible for confirming the correct device before a call, recording, broadcast, or other important use.
Open-source licence
EyeOh Core source code is licensed under the MIT License in the public repository. That licence includes its own permission and warranty terms. Official signed builds, support, distribution services, names, and artwork remain subject to Dark Ice’s release and trademark policies.
Updates and availability
Dark Ice may release fixes, change distribution channels, or discontinue an official build. The direct-download edition updates only when you install a newer signed release; a future Mac App Store edition would update through the Mac App Store.
No guarantee of third-party behaviour
macOS, meeting apps, Bluetooth devices, cameras, and audio drivers can maintain their own selections or behave differently between versions. EyeOh cannot guarantee that another app will follow the macOS default or preferred device.
Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, EyeOh is provided “as is”, without warranties beyond rights that cannot legally be excluded. Dark Ice is not responsible for indirect loss arising from an incorrect route, unavailable device, third-party app behaviour, or interruption. Nothing here limits rights available under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot be excluded.
